On February 12, Mast Way and Moharimet schools celebrated the 100th day of the 2024-2025 school year. Special activities took place throughout the day at both locations.

At Mast Way School, the first-grade team gave their students the option to bring in an object of their choice that contained one hundred items. Many teachers also had 100-day themed paperwork for students to color and crowns were a hit with students.

Ms. Kennedy's kindergarten class took part in the 100 Days Duck Hunt. Students searched for one hundred ducks hidden around the room and, when they found a duck, put it on a chart. Ms. Kennedy's paraprofessional, Ms. Blake, wore wildly popular 100-day themed earrings to celebrate the day.

Moharimet School celebrated with its customary coin drive. This year’s challenge was for each student to bring one hundred pennies to school. Some classes organized activities with the money, others counted and organized it, and many students brought in much more than 100 pennies.

The school raised $781.41 and is excited to announce that in honor of the “Year of Journeys”, the money will be split into three donations connected to the following three animals they have been supporting and tracked all year:
