On May 16, 2024, during a ceremony in honor of retiring Superintendent Morse, the ORCSD School Board announced that the Oyster River Middle School Concert Hall would now be known as "Morse Recital Hall".
This honor is a lasting testament to Superintendent Morse profound impact on the Oyster River community and his unwavering support of the arts.
Superintendent Morse was also presented with a commendation letter from Governor Sununu.
School Board Member Brian Cisneros shared a touching tribute and said, "Superintendent Morse has been the guiding force behind our educational endeavors, fostering an environment of growth and inclusivity. He will forever be remembered for his steadfast support of the arts and excellence in education and leadership."
Reflecting on his journey, Superintendent Morse remarked, "It has been an honor to serve alongside such dedicated educators and staff. This recognition is not just mine; it belongs to every individual who has contributed to our students' success."
As Superintendent Morse soon bids farewell to Oyster River, his legacy of leadership and passion for education will continue to inspire generations to come.
The naming of Morse Recital Hall stands as a testament to his enduring influence and the profound mark he has left on the hearts and minds of all who have had the privilege to work with him.
