On Friday, October 4, 2024, Oyster River High School (ORHS) students of all grade levels gathered on the Todd Allen Field for a spirit day celebration and pep rally to conclude their week. Classes were competing for who had the most spirit in activities like tug o’ war and table surfing.
Many athletic activities were made available to students earlier in the day for the field day portion of the festivities, like basketball, flag football, wiffle ball, pickleball, frisbee, and bocce.
Students were also invited to partake in a variety of creative activities like cornhole, chalk, board games, reading, chess, origami, bracelet making, and face painting.
School Resource Officer Mike Nicolosi looked with Bob D. Bobcat as the cheer team performed for the crowd.
ORHS staff supported the event and Superintendent Shaps (pictured) joined the festivities.
