Did you know that for the past 5 years, Mrs. Pirtle’s 7th grade Health class has been hosting a food truck activity on the ORMS 2nd floor?

Students are invited to partake in the creation of a menu for their food trucks, which are crafted with colorful cardboard and paper. Students can work on this project individually or as part of a team and the project-based activity ends with a celebration where everyone can enjoy a healthy snack.

This activity helps students understand the importance of nutrition and having a healthy lifestyle by harnessing the students’ creativity and tying it to ORMS’ health curriculum.
